Software Developer (VB6/.Net)

We’re currently looking for developers with broad experience in Java and .Net. Ideally, potential developers will also possess some of the following skills:

  • 4+ years development and delivery experience with either C++ and/or .NET with Knowledge of Active X Technology
  • Analysis, design, coding and implementation of large-scale custom-built OO applications
  • Great OO skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of software best practices like test driven development (TDD) and continuous integration
  • Understanding of code manipulation and optimization issues
  • Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle
  • Experience with technology migration highly preferred, since we are migrating/redesigning VB6 legacy code to .NET
 
 

Praxis Software Trainer

Seeking Praxis EMR Software Trainers

Responsibilities:

  • Learn the product and its environment initially by self-study, shadowing other trainers, and attending computer based classes.
  • Train physicians and clinical staff in the use of Praxis EMR
  • Customize the training according to specific practice needs
  • Document workflow scenarios and offer solutions to the practice for optimum Praxis implementation
  • Analyze and troubleshoot any issues regarding the use of Praxis EMR.
  • Develop strong customer relationships on the phone and/or on site
  • Attend training classes as offered by Infor-Med, either internal or external

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree, transcription or coder certification
  • Must have 1 to 3 years of EMR or Practice Management Software training with a good track record on client installations. In lieu of actual EMR or PM experience, strong medical office background, medical terminology, training, and medical transcription backgrounds will be considered
  • Good punctuation, English, and grammar skills
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
  • Willingness to continually re-learn features as they change and improve
  • Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers and clinic staff
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Technical proficiency: working knowledge of Word Processing applications
  • Excellent verbal (via telephone and in person) and written (via email) communication skills
  • Strong listening skills and presentation skills
  • Willing to work variable hours
  • Desire to grow with a company and make a meaningful impact to Praxis EMR
